WHAT'S THAT SOUND?

That loud bang you just heard in your head is the sound of cube dropping the mic. What does that mean exactly? It means that cube is dropping some facts. Facts that are going to keep you safe and make you a better friend. Facts that are going to help you make smarter decisions and give you talking points so that you can have informed, educated conversations with the people you care about the most, like your friends and family.

You know drinking alcohol is dangerous. You've heard people tell you that from the day you were born and it's important to hear and you can never hear it enough. But what's even more important is to know why underage drinking is so harmful and that's why cube is dropping the mic on the subject.

RISKS OF UNDERAGE DRINKING*

  • Problems at school, such as higher rates of absences or lower grades
  • Social problems, such as fighting or lack of participation in youth activities
  • Physical problems, such as hangovers or illnesses
  • Increase in violent behavior
  • Increased risk of suicide and homicide
  • Alcohol-related injuries, such as burns, falls, or drowning
  • Memory problems
  • Misuse of other substances
  • Changes in brain development that may have life-long effects
  • Alcohol poisoning

After reading these, the next sound you should hear is the little voice in your head telling you to share them with your audience (your peeps, your posse, your BFF's, and whoever else will listen) until they sing along and give you a standing ovation. If you feel up to it, give them an encore!

WATCH THIS GUY HAVE A MIC DROP MOMENT.

Ok, so this video is pretty old (8 years?!?, that's ancient!) and it's from a TedTalk (only old people watch those!) but we have no idea how this guy makes all these sounds with just his mouth and a microphone.

Yes, it's long (11 minutes +). But we want to be friends with this guy and invite him to our grandma's 97th birthday party. He'd be a hit!

THIS CONTEST IS KANYE WEST APPROVED.

Actually, that's not true. But did the headline get your attention? Would it have made a difference if we would have name-dropped Cardi B. or Juicewrld instead? Are we trying too hard to be hip and relevant? Probably, and now our feelings are hurt.

You know what would make us feel better? If you filled out this contest card and pretended you were Snoop D - O - Double G and dropped it like it's hot right into your school's collection box. We'll stop now.
